Pediatric Physiotherapy

Paediatric Physiotherapy focuses on the assessment, treatment, and management of movement and developmental disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. It helps children achieve their optimal physical potential by improving strength, balance, coordination, posture, and overall motor skills. This branch of physiotherapy addresses conditions such as developmental delays, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, torticollis, and postural or gait abnormalities. Treatment often includes play-based exercises, functional training, and family education to make therapy engaging and effective. The main goal of paediatric physiotherapy is to promote independence, support healthy growth and development, and enhance the child’s participation in daily activities, school, and play.
